With the schedule I keep, I need all the help I can get to make sure all my tomorrows run smoothly. That’s why I always have Kellogg’s cereal on hand. Their cereals are a great way to make the morning a little easier and a little healthier.
Better Tomorrows with Kellogg’s Cereal
Beep, beep, BEEP, BEEP! Ah, the alarm clock. The universal sound of morning. It always sounds so soft and distant. Unfortunately, it’s the soft, distant sound of a freight train barreling towards my dreams and disturbing my beauty sleep. I give the snooze button a good smack – or three. The panicked, “AHH! I have to get up,” doesn’t usually come until I’m getting ready to give the snooze button a fourth jab. When it does, it’s a mad dash to get everything going.
That’s where Kellogg’s cereal comes in. I’m not a morning person. At all. That means preparing for every morning the night before. That way, when I finally rouse myself from my snooze button fest, I can immediately get everything moving. Kellogg’s cereal is a big help on that front. They have great tasting, healthy cereals like Frosted Mini Wheats, Special K, and Raisin Bran. Pouring up a bowl of one of these for the family gives them protein and whole grains, and it saves me a ton of time!
Tips for a Better Tomorrow
Because I’m usually a frazzled mess in the morning, I have a routine that I follow to help make my bleary eyed morning rush a little easier.
- Lay out Those Clothes: It is SO much easier to get your kids (and yourself) ready for the day when you already have your outfit ready to go. Socks, shoes, jackets, everything.
- Have a Morning “To Do” List: Everyone in the house should have a clear idea of what they need to accomplish to make the morning run smoothly.
- Make Breakfast Quick and Easy: Kellogg’s cereal helps me so much with this one. I put the bowls and spoons out the night before, and in the morning, I pour up the cereal and milk. We’re good to go.
- Healthy Snacks are Key: This is another area where Kellogg’s cereal shines. I can pack a baggie of Frosted Mini Wheats in my purse, and I’m good to go with a tasty, healthy snack.
I may not be super on the ball every morning, but with Kellogg’s cereal and a few preparations the night before, I manage to make it through with my sanity intact and my children’s bellies full.
