Pinkalicious and Peterrific are Coming to PBS Kids

PBS Kids is excited to announce its new animated series called Pinkalicious & Peterrific!  This imaginative show is set to make its broadcast debut on Monday, February 19 on PBS Kids. It is their first series dedicated entirely to the arts and creativity and is based on the best selling Pinkalicious book series by author Victoria Kann.

PINKALICIOUS & PETERRIFIC follows the adventures of Pinkalicious and her brother, Peter, as they explore the town of Pinkville with their neighborhood friends. The imaginative Pinkalicious finds creative opportunities everywhere she looks, with Peter and her friends Jasmine, Rafael and Kendra in tow. She inspires everyone around her to be creative and find imaginative solutions to problems, and expresses herself in ways that encourage children to do the same.

My daughter has fallen in love with Pinkalicious & Peterrific. It just so happens that her favorite color is also pink, and just like Peter and Pinkalicious, she loves to have creative fun.  I love that the animated series encourages kids to engage in the creative arts and self-expression. Visual arts, dance, and music should be a part of every child’s life. Pinkalicious & Peterrific encourages children to follow their passions and express themselves all while having a ton of fun.  I know my daughter loves making things “Pinktastic!”
