Tylenol Holiday Hero #MyHolidayHero #Ad

December 19, 2013 by Lauren 41 Comments

I have received information about the TYLENOL® Holiday Heroes promotion from McNeil Consumer Healthcare Division of McNEIL-PPC, Inc., the makers of TYLENOL®. The opinions stated are my own. This is a sponsored post for Kin Community.

Tylenol wants to celebrate Holiday Heroes this holiday season by celebrating those that go above and beyond for others.  When I think about my Holiday Hero, the answer is easy, but I have two people, my parents.  It has been a tough year for both of them, yet they continue to think of everyone else above themselves.  They are both selfless like that, and that is how they have always been, no matter what time of year.

Family

Our family is spread out across the country, and even though we are so far apart, their love for us and their grandkids is never in doubt.  Unable to travel this holiday season, they want to make sure their grandkids have an amazing Christmas.  Special packages have been arriving at our door the past week filled with gifts packed and shipped with love from my parents.  I know it is not as easy as it use to be for them to do this, but they would not have it any other way.

Who is your Holiday Hero?

Tylenol wants to make sure holiday aches and pains don’t get in the way of you and your loved ones enjoying the season*.

Know someone who goes above and beyond for others during the holiday season? Honor your Holiday Hero on the Holiday Heroes tab of the TYLENOL® Facebook page by visiting www.tylenolholidayheroes.com.

Submit a photo and story for the opportunity to win one of five great prizes**:

    • A Spa Day
    • A Chef to Cook a Holiday Meal
    • A Limo for a Day of Shopping

My mother is definitley my holiday hero. To this day, I don’t know how she does it all. She shops for everyone (via catalog because she can’t drive or use the internet), she wraps, cooks, bakes, organizes Christmas eve and Christmas day dinner….it’s crazy.

I guess it would have to be my Mom. At 91 she is still cooking holiday dinners, getting herself into her car and helping others etc etc etc.

My mom is my hero! She raised us 4 kids on her own, and now, when she should be enjoying retirement, is raising 2 grandkids. On a small budget, she still manages to host the most memorable Christmases every year!

That is great that you look up to your parents that way and they setting such great examples for putting others first. My holiday hero is the little boy I run for, he is unable to run, instead he uses his strength to beat the odds of 22q every day and yet is full of smiles!

This year my holiday hero would most definitely be my 85 year old mother. She is taking care of my almost 90 year old father with multiple health issues without a thought about herself. His needs always come first. They remind me of the quote, “The most romantic love story isn’t Romeo and Juliet who died together…but grandpa and grandma who grew old together.”

My dad would have been my hero but he is no longer here so my mom would have to be my second choice. What an awesome thing Tylenol is doing with great prizes too.
