My husband made this quick and easy week night dinner for us when it seemed like we had nothing to eat.  You know the nights, when you look in the fridge and there appears to be nothing. This is a variation of a midwest classic that we found yummy and comforting as our nights are getting longer and days are getting cooler.  With few ingredients, you can make this Cheesy Tater Tot Casserole too!

This recipe can be made in any casserole dish, but Pyrex is my favorite.

This is one of our favorite dinners! I make mine just like this, but use corn instead of peas since my husband isn’t a fan. I also call it White Trash Casserole!

From my 15 month old twins up to my husband loved it. He had seconds. I substituted peas for canned green beans and forgot the cheese on top
    Still delicious!
