I’m attending an all expense trip thanks to Disney to attend the Pete’s Dragon Event. All opinions are 100% my own.
Hooray for Hollywood!! I am headed to LA where I will be walking the red carpet for the Disney’s Pete’s Dragon premiere!! There we will get to see filmmakers and the stars of the film, Bryce Dallas Howard (Grace), Oakes Fegley (Pete), Wes Bently (Jack), Karl Urban (Gavin), and the iconic Robert Redford (Meacham), as they celebrate the release of their new movie. Disney always puts on a great show at their red carpet events, and I cannot wait to see what they have in store for us! I have a feeling Elliott (the dragon) might even be there!!
I loved Pete’s Dragon as a kid, so I am super excited to see how they introduce Pete’s Dragon to a whole new generation!
We will also interview young stars Oakes Fegley (Elliot) and Oona Laurence (Natalie)! I cannot wait to hear what they think it was like making this film!
Disney also recently updated another classic, The Jungle Book and it will be available on Digital HD on 8/23 and Blu-ray on 8/30! While in LA we will then get a sneak peek at some of the exciting bonus content featured on the Blu-ray and digital release. We will also have a Q & A with Producer Brigham Taylor and Visual Effect Supervisor Rob Legato.
All the elements that people love about Disney are present in The Jungle Book. We laughed, we cried, were scared at times and thrilled at times as Mowgli makes his transformative journey through the jungle.
“Queen of Katwe” is the colorful true story of a young girl selling corn on the streets of rural Uganda whose world rapidly changes when she is introduced to the game of chess, and, as a result of the support she receives from her family and community, is instilled with the confidence and determination she needs to pursue her dream of becoming an international chess champion.
From Walt Disney Animation Studios comes Moana,” a sweeping, CG-animated feature film about an adventurous teenager who sails out on a daring mission to save her people. “Moana is the 16-year-old daughter of the chief of Motunui,” says director Ron Clements. “She’s athletic, nimble, compassionate and incredibly smart. She has a never-say-die attitude and a profound connection to the ocean.”
Please follow along as I take this amazing Disney adventure!
