For my day job, I’m an art teacher and that carries over when I get home from work too. I love sitting down and doing fun activities with my kids after school. Not only is it quality time with them, it’s also a time where we get to be creative together!
Since it’s officially fall around the country, I want to make sure my kids are experiencing it here in Las Vegas too. Sure, there might be a lot of desert around here but there are also some gorgeous places to see the falling leaves! At home, we are making some fun fall crafts featuring Goldfish Crackers! The Goldfish Colors crackers make for a fun after-school snack AND fall craft!
Make A Fall Tree With Goldfish Crackers
You probably have all the supplies at home already. Just paper, markers or paint and Goldfish Colors crackers and you will be able to create a beautiful fall tree.
- Paint and paint brush or markers (brown and green)
- Goldfish Colors Crackers
- 12X18 white paper
- Glue (optional)
- Paint and draw your tree and grass onto the paper.
- Let the paint dry.
- Use the Goldfish Colors Crackers as leaves on the tree and fallen leaves on the grass.
- You can teach colors, patterns, and so much more with this simple craft.
- Glue down you masterpiece or eat your Goldfish Crackers!
Creating this fall tree with your kids is a fun way to spend some time together as you talk about the leaves changing colors, counting how many Goldfish crackers you put on the branches and solve the problem of “Mom, I’m hungry!” after school. My kids loved decorating their “tree” – it was so pretty I wish I could have framed it!
