Joovy Scooter Review

December 5, 2010 by Lauren Leave a Comment

Baybah was blown away by the groovy Joovy Scooter at the ABC Kid Expo this year. There were many amazing companies that offer products for baby. One of my favorite booths that I got to visit was Joovy.  I got to see all of their new hot products from strollers and play yards, to high chairs and even products that are still in the making. There was one product in particular by Joovy that really caught my eye, the Joovy Scooter stroller!  Joovy was generous enough to offer me this amazing stroller to take home and review!!

Stroller

The Scooter stroller caught my eye not only because of its bright bold color, but also because of its huge oversized canopy.   This sun canopy is perfect to protect your precious cargo from sun, wind, rain, or anything else the elements can produce.    I also loved how the canopy has reflective strips, and a window so you can look down and see what your little one is up to.  Baybah loved it too to play peek-a-boo!

The Scooter seat is easily adjusted from the back in unlimited positions from 115 to 149 degrees.  This makes it comfortable for your little one to rest and take naps.  I do wish that the seat did lay completely flat, but it does come pretty close.

Stroller

The Scooter stroller also has an adjustable light reflective 5 point harness to keep your baby safe.  I love how the strap covers  are big cushions that make it comfortable for Baybah to wear or rest his head on when he falls asleep.

The seat also has little pockets on either side to hold small toys making it easy for your little one to grab when needed.

Stroller

Another important feature that I love about the Scooter is the bumper bar.  This bumper bar is perfect to attach toys and sippy cups to, and even better, it can be used as a car seat adapter for all Graco infant car seats.  Why waste your money on one of those big, bulky stroller systems, when you can get this ultra sleek stroller that can be used when your little one is an infant (using the car seat adapter) all the way up to 55 lbs!

Stroller

The ride of the Scooter was comfortable for Baybah and for us to push.  The 4 wheel suspension helped smooth out all of the bumps, and the linked rear brakes add extra security when the stroller is stopped.

Stroller

Joovy also thought of the parents needs too.  There is a cup holder, and a zippered pocket perfect for a small purse, keys, cell phone, and wallet.  The push handles are comfortable to push, however, I do wish that they had a height adjustment.  The stroller was easy for me to push, but my husband who is 6 ft 3 in sometimes kicked the back of the stroller when he walked.  The handles also made it harder to hang stuff on, but the basket below helps make up for that.

Stroller

Joovy also made the Scooter with a gigantic easy access basket.  This basket was big enough to hold my large diaper bag with room to spare!  This thing is huge!

The Joovy Scooter also has an easy to do compact fold that can also be put into a stand position.  Plus, weighing in at only 18.5 lbs. it is easy to move around, and to put in and out of your trunk.

The Joovy Scooter Stroller is the only stroller you will need from infant to toddler and beyond.  The price,  sun canopy, gigantic basket, and ride make it the top of its class.  You will love the Scooter Stroller by Joovy!

To find out more about the Joovy head to their website and facebook page.  Thank you Joovy for this amazing stroller!

Disclosure: I received the products listed above from Joovy in exchange for this review.  No monetary compensation was received by me. This review is 100% mine, and my honest opinion.

OH, this is a beautiful stroller. This would definitely make a great baby shower gift and the color is really nice. I like how it has a little clear top window to look down on your little one. Love that part as well.

Great review – I love the orange color- I think it makes it nice so you are always able to find it and if walking on the street you can't be missed!
