Whatever you want to call this Bottle of Fun it’s amazing to see my toddler so excited about something so simple. I have to admit a friend made and I Spy Bottle for Sweet Pea for her birthday so I decided to make some for Sweet Pea’s cousins because it was such a hit in our home and I hadn’t seen this anywhere. Plus, Seek and Finds are a hit with toddlers!
I Spy Bottle DIY
Dollar store trinkets
Wash and dry water bottle thoroughly and set aside. Pick your foam letters and numbers for your seek and find. I used the child’s name and a number to represent the child’s age. I found using small letters worked better and moved easier within the bottle. Next take a picture of all of the items. Now it’s time to add a pinch of rice then a trinket and then keep alternating rice and trinkets until almost full. Leave room for the rice to move. I’d say about an inch or two from the top. Hot glue lid onto the bottle and voila!
Don’t forget to develop your picture of the items to give with the I Spy Bottle as a point of reference for younger tots.
