First Haircut | Wordless Wednesday Linky

Curly Hair

This past weekend we decided it was finally time to get Baybah a haircut. Yes, he is 2.5 and has never had a haircut. I was too worried he was going to loose those cute curls of his! I think Baybah was a little worried about it too!

First Haircut

But as soon as he sat in the chair at the kids hair salon I knew he was going to love it!  The hair salon that we went to was so fun! Baybah picked the chair that looked like Lightning McQueen so of course he had to watch Cars too.

The stylist got to work and I will say did a great job.  I was so proud of Baybah for being so well behaved!

First Haircut

Almost done!  Oh my goodness! Where did all of his hair go?

First Haircut

Tada!  He looks so handsome!  Baybah got a lollipop and a certificate to take home with him for a job well done.  Now I am wondering what took me so long?!

That had to have been hard. He did have such cute curls. But the haircut looks very nice. And I just love the special chairs and the movie and the certificate. Never heard of such a thing.

OMG you cut his curls! I’m always sad to see toddlers get their first hair cuts, I think the parents with curley haired tots wait the longest. SAP is now 3 yo and has not had a cut, but she is now obsessively chewing on her hair and won’t stop…in fact starting to eat it we found out. So we might just have to lose the Shirley temple curls 🙁

I was scared too! I didn’t wait THAT long (lol), but I waited a long time. He had big soft curls too and I couldn’t bear to lose them. At least I still have them in an envelope! 🙂

Your little man looks adorable with his new do!

He did a great job. My son screamed his head off. lol. My son also had a head full of curls, and each time I got his hair cut the curls were less and less… Now he has no curls.
