Delivery Man is Filled with Heartfelt Emotion #DeliveryMan

December 1, 2013 by Lauren 14 Comments

We recently had the opportunity to review, Delivery Man.  Delivery Man is a warm holiday movie that will satisfy both male and female audiences.  Vince Vaughn plays the 30-something underachiever, David Wozniak a.k.a “Starbuck.”  David finds himself in a dilemma when he discovers that he has fathered 533 children through a fertility clinic.  142 of those children now want to know who “Starbuck” really is.

David also finds himself in a bind when his current girlfriend, Emma, played by Cobie Smulders, throws him a curve ball when she announces that she is pregnant with his child.  She confirms David’s underachieving status when she proclaims that he needs to grow up and become an adult.  David continues to find his way into adulthood by meeting several of his children, helping them in their times of need, and finding truth and responsibility along the way.

Delivery Man will have you laughing and tearing up at the same time.  The heartfelt emotion that is displayed will give you a whole new outlook on fatherhood, even if it is through an untraditional method, such as sperm donation.  Delivery Man is truly a movie that will keep you rooting for the underdog.

Delivery Man is in theaters now!

I know I probably won’t make it to the theater for this but I’ll definitely catch it on home video later on. It looks like a charmer.

I really wanted to see this movie, but everyone keeps telling me how emotional it is, and I don’t think I want to cry in the theaters! LOL!
