I love Halloween! It has always been my favorite holiday ever since I was little. Not only because it is my Birthday month, but because my parents always made Halloween such a fun and special time. Dressing up in the cutest costume my parents could find or make always made my Halloween so magical. Now that I have my own little one, I want to make sure that his Halloween is just as magical.
Do you want to add a little magic to your child’s Halloween too? Chasing Fireflies carries an amazing selection of high quality costumes for your little one, your pet, and even you! After looking through the their website and Wishcraft catalog I could tell that Chasing Fireflies costumes were not your average superstore costumes. They were beautiful, unique, and well made.
Deciding on a costume for Baybah was tough because their were so many awesome choices. The Triceratops was adorable, the Sea Dragon was so unique, and the Gnome was hysterical. We finally decided on the Robo-Kid-Costume because as soon as Baybah saw the picture of the costume in the catalog he screamed, “Bobot Bobot!” We knew the Robot would be perfect, and it was.
From the Chasing Fireflies site:
Robo-Kid-Costume- All androids report for duty! Dance the robot through the neighborhood in our retro bot-suit. To start, your automaton slips on a silver padded coat with command buttons and attached gloves with hook hands. He steps into the space-age pleated pants and padded bootcovers. Puts on the adjustable droid hood and starts calculating the probability of multi-variable glucose intakes (human translation: how much candy he’ll collect!). 5-piece set. Polyester. Imported.
The costume arrived a quick 3 days after I ordered it. When I took it out of the cute paper it was wrapped in, I could tell right away that the quality of the costume was amazing. We love to go to several different local Halloween events, so having a costume that will last is important. It stood up to Baybah running around the backyard and riding his rocket ship so I know that it is durable and easy for him to move around in too.
I love that the Robo-Kid-Costume comes in 5 parts, the padded coat, pleated pants, boot covers, and hood. This was great because even though the pants were long on Baybah, I was able to roll up the bottom of the pants and hide them underneath the bootcovers that go on top. Baybah was also able to easily take off his hood after he got hot from running around and playing, and the costume still looked adorable. I will say that it was a bit difficult getting Baybah’s arms through the sleeves, but once we did, we were ready to go. Other than that, the costumes was perfect, and we cannot wait to take Baybah out for some Halloween “Bobot” fun.
