I was lucky enough to grow up watching Mister Rogers and his amazingly wondrous neighborhood of make believe. He taught the importance of friendship, love, kindness, understanding, and so much more. I remember field trips to the crayon factory, making Valentines, visits from Mister McFeely, and my favorite, heading to the land of make believe.I was also lucky enough to meet Mister Roger several times. I grew up in western Pennsylvania, where Mister Rogers was from and filmed his show, so you never knew when you might bump into him. My favorite time meeting him was when we saw him eating a piece of pie at one of my families favorite restaurants. It is a memory I will never forget and cherish forever. Now, I am so thankful that my kids can experience Mister Rogers legacy through the amazing animation Daniel Tigers Neighborhood.
